It's worth how much??? You may hidden Video Game gems in your closet!
January 19, 2019
It's now 2019 and another year has passed. Since 1984, games continue to get older and as they become more scarce they'll continue to grow in value. Some more than others. While it's always simple to try and sell your video games on Offer up or Craigslist, I always recommend checking values first. I will now break down the value of some games you may have hidden in your closet or attic and will make you think twice before selling them.
This article will include only original games, none reproductions. For any doubt whether one is a re-pro or not, you must open the cartridge and inspect the chip to say the corresponding manufacturer.
Super Nintendo - Earth Bound
Nintendo NES - Bubble Bobble 2
Nintendo NES - Mario Bros. Aracde Classics 5 Screw
Playstation 2 - Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Sega Dreamcast - Power Stone 2
Super Nintendo - Chrono Trigger
Game Boy - Amazing Tater
Sega Game Gear - Mega Man
Complete with the box is going to always have a higher value than a lose cartridge. If you happen to have the complete or even sealed editions, they are worth keeping well protected. The values of the games should continue to increase as time goes by. The rarer titles are usually fun adventure genre or limited production cartridges. Some of these games were also only released in certain regions which makes them even more rare.
